There’s an art to making music that people crave. There has to be that certain “something” in the sound that isn’t found anywhere else. That unnamed quality that you know is just right because when you hear it, it touches you in your soul. That’s what Sound Thought Recordings is dedicated to producing: music that’s always soulful, and a sound that’s always rare, because when it comes to music, it really is personal.

Sound Thought Recordings’ artists are musicians, singers, songwriters, spoken word artists, and producers who are independent thinkers, wanting more than just to express themselves. They want a partner in music with pure talent, a high level of professionalism (not forsaking a good time in the studio), and technically excellent recordings. Sound Thought offers all that, plus… a safe haven for their creativity.

Listeners of a Sound Thought Recordings’ artist are those who are into listening to rare, good pieces of work. Musical art, so to speak.

SoundThought Recordings, founded in 2004 by producer, singer/songwriter Inohs Sivad, is an indie label. STR was created, initally, to support Inohs' efforts as an artist. But as others recognized the care, attention and sound quanlity of Inohs' projects, the label began gaining speed after the 2007 release of her sophomore CD Changes.

Realizing that every artist is different and every project has it's own voice, STR's goal it to meet each artist where they are, nurture their talent, and turn out a complete artist.
